NDI Group quadruples its capacity with a new warehouse in E20 Park

JUNE 2TH

With a signed agreement to move into a state-of-the-art tire warehouse in E20 park, NDI Group will ensure customers on Sealand a faster delivery of an even more extensive product range and prepare the company for future growth.

Since 1987, NDI Group has had a decentralized tire warehouse in Karlslunde in Zealand, which has played an essential role in ensuring customers fast and convenient delivery of a large selection of tires, rims, and other goods. Over the next few months, the company will empty its tire warehouse in Karlslundet, and the goods will be moved to a brand new warehouse in E20 park in Solrød.

- We have entered a long-term agreement with the property developer Verdion to rent us into the E20 Park in state-of-the-art storage facilities with space for over 100,000 tires, which is a quadrupling of our current storage capacity. As a result of the growth of recent years, we have grown out of our warehouse in Karlslunde and have therefore invested in a state-of-the-art tire warehouse, so we are geared for further, future growth, says communications manager at NDI Group, Jens Jakob Velasco Hansen.

Win-win for all parties
With the new warehouse, NDI Group will, according to CCO Allan Pedersen, have even better access to customers in Zealand and at the same time, achieve a more profitable operation in line with the group's 2024 strategy.

- NDI Group has a vision to keep customers 'business rolling and a mission to be the customers' preferred supplier of tire rims and wheels. It commits, and with the new investment, we give customers access to an even larger product range and even faster delivery, so we can live up to and exceed their expectations of us as a supplier. In addition, the new warehouse will ensure profitable growth and efficient operations in line with our 2024 strategy and optimization efforts of our warehouses, which are also in full swing in Norway and Sweden right now, says Allan Pedersen and elaborates:

- At the same time, the warehouse is energy efficient and has the sustainability certification DNGB Gold, as it is built according to strict environmental standards. In this way, we can combine profitable operations and at the same time take the environment into account, which is also important to us. So we are very much looking forward to taking the new warehouse into use, becoming part of the E20 Park, and taking the next step in our growth journey.

NDI Group expects to be in place in the new warehouse during the summer and be fully operational in the third quarter of 2022.
